Aging On Your Own Terms
Everybody will get old. The years will compile in our lives, and from
our twenties, we'll progress to our thirties, and then our forties, and then our fifties. It is a natural outgrowth
as inescapable as life and death. Although it's something that will sooner or later happen this does not mean that
it will materialize anytime soon. Though we can’t arrest it from occurring (at least not unit certain life
enhancing anti-aging technologies are in place), we can for certain determine how we mature, and how and when
we age.
This is the reason why there are folks who in their eighties are still in their prime,
able-bodied to act ceaselessly, and still have astute minds, sometimes even more incisive than those who are in
their fifties or sixties. All the same, there are also those in their eighties that are really oblivious and
dormant. They find it arduous to act not to mention play sports or do work.
This is a testament that the will of citizenry themselves determine however they
age or anti-age. And although the genes have something to do with it, it does not necessarily regulate the
whole forecast. In a study carried on by the John and Catherine MacArthur Foundation, it appears that the
genes merely make up a little part of a humans aging outgrowth. The rest is contingent on the individual.
Below are a few of the things that you are able to do in order to age well.
Anti-aging technique: 1. Be active
One basic err people make is that they frequently associate age with rusty bones and inaction.
This should not be the case. The more dynamic a individual is, the better he will age because activity and physical
exercise will build muscles and fortify the bones. Remember the hypothesis of use and neglect. The more we do not
apply a part of the body, the more it will decay into nothing.
Anti-aging technique: 2. Apply your mind
One trick to stave off having Alzheimer’s disease or being unretentive generally is to engage in
mental activeness. Answer a crossword puzzle. Read the newspaper daily. Keep yourself up to date with the latest
news in the nation. Debate with your kids or even with your grandchildren. Apply your mind.
Anti-aging technique: 3. Have
a purpose
Another secret to anti-aging is to have a purpose in living even when you are older. Find
something to do with your time whether it's a spare-time activity that you have done in the past or a fresh hobby
that you have been desiring to try for years.
